THE VISION & MISSION
Space Colonisation? Generation Ship?
Ever wondered what the human races fate will be? Let have a conversation about Space Colonisation and the building of generation ships!!
'THIS IS THE VISION'
Flying from planet, to moon, to solar system, leaving a trail of human colonies in our wake!
The Generation Ship
Built to hold a crew of 70, which include, 25 couples made up of 25 men and 25 women + 10 women and 10 men in the colonisation program.
Taylor Wilson's Production line Fission Reactor for on board power (scaled to size)
Argon gas Plasma Rockets capable of flying at 40 Kilometers/second
Large 3D Printers with the programs to build all necessary equipment, resource refinery on board
Research and Development Laboratory, capable of gene therapy, organ growth, human cloning, artificial insemination, gender control, analysis of new environments etc
Store of uranium providing enough fuel for the first 5 -10 generations
Infirmary
Armory
Renewable food source - Grow super enriching bacteria?
Renewable water source - a hydrogen and oxygen water refinery
Renewable oxygen source - again with bacteria
Renewable hydrogen source -???
'THIS IS THE MISSION'
Leave earth on generation ship, first to mars or a moon of Jupiter. First thing to do is locate usable resources for the 3D printers to use to build equipment needed to build colony.
Pod setup first, then moving on to dome communities all over the new world.
First equipment built is the same equipment needed to build this same equipment. (3D Printer needs to print all components required to build a 3D Printer)
On discovery of viable resources the colonisation program begins and the 10 surrogates are inseminated
Build a functioning growth colony with a replica of the facilities on the generation ship, Leaving two men and two of the surrogates with 6 children leaving 4 on board as surrogates for future colonies.
Each of the 50 Crew replace themselves (potentially with a clone of themselves)
The ship would carry a complete history of earth and leave a copy with each colony.
These are just a few ideas i have seen, thought of or been told about, can you please give your ideas on what could work?, what might fail?, alternative options to the ones presented and just anything that can help form a clearer path on how we could do this?
